Story thus far:

I'll keep updating this as I continue to create comics. This'll be a way to keep track of where the story is, and to catch up new readers who don't want to go through my *long* archive. Anyways, here goes:

Chapter 1

A dream. A very frightening dream wakes up a young man. The dream is an odd sort, of a strange girl in a strange place. But even that odd dream would be better than the reality. Life was dull, when you worked in a place where no one would ever visit. Or so he thought. The young boy, Aren, would soon be pestered by an actual visitor. The first in days. It would not be a welcome sight, however, as he learned the visitor was none other than the most frightening, yet richest, girl in town: Rina Erishi. Getting straight to the point, Rina asked Aren out, and before he could think of an excuse, she'd cried him into agreeing. A great day seemed to be starting. A day that, although perhaps not better, would at least get stranger as he opened a box his master had left on the table...
As he looked in the box, a jewel with a strange gleam caught his eye. Unknowingly, he reached for it... and changed his life. The spell ran through him quickly, binding him with words of insanity and death, but before it could be finished, he flung the pendant away in horror. In curiousity, the boy went towards the pendant again, only to find another visitor, this one was an apparently insane girl wearing a Chinese dress. Stating her occupation as an assassin, Aren felt his life flash before his eyes. And then the blow struck...
Only to hit the pendant he had all but forgotten. With a wisp of black smoke, it vanished. Still touched by its power, Aren fainted. The assassin, taking pity, brought him to a place to rest.

Chapter 2

Meanwhile, in the outskirts of town, two strange men appeared, who seemed to be searching for something for quite some time. And in the hometown of Aren, it seemed, they would find it.

The rest of the story you shall have to learn as it unfolds.
